We only take reservations for groups of 8 or more guests. In the tradition of German beer gardens, Steinspark offers community style seating, mostly at tables that seat 8 people. Smaller groups of guests are welcome to find open seats on their own and to share tables with other guests.
Pets and kids are welcome - this is a family friendly space. But we do ask that your pets be kept on a leash and you clean up after them.
Steinspark is an all outdoor place with no covered seating. We will stay open during a quick summer shower but will close when significant rain or thunderstorms are in the area. We will also stay closed when inclement weather is forecasted for the following day. Please check our website and Instagram page for weather-related updates.
Yes, we’d love for you to host a private event at Steinspark! However, due to the large number of regular guests during normal operating hours, we can only accommodate large private events that require special service on Mondays or Tuesdays when we are usually closed or from noon to 3:00 PM Wednesdays to Saturdays before we open to the public. Pricing and deposits depend on the type of catering you require for your private event. Please call us for more details and for pricing information.
Limited parking is available with 65 spots on site. The parking lot fills up quickly during main dinner hours between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, particularly on sunny weekends. Please consider carpooling whenever feasible or ride your bike. The Portage bike trail goes right along Portage Road.
No smoking or vaping allowed on premise. You can step out into the parking lot for that.
